Toque Cada Dia Como Jazz

The inimitable Iris Abramof offered to translate some of my comics into Portuguese, and I happily said yes. She's tackled a number of my favorite Incidental Comics from the past couple years. I'll post the Portuguese translations regularly this month along with links to the original versions. My hope is that I can parlay these drawings into a trip to Brazil for the 2014 World Cup or the 2016 Summer Olympics - maybe I could serve as ambassador of webcomics? Thanks again to Iris for her help.

Read the English version here: Play Each Day Like Jazz

Please note that posters of the translated comics are available at my print shop.

This is so good news! I am brazilian and got amazingly surprised when I saw your work in Portuguese.

If it depends on me, It will be awesome to have you in Brazil in 2014 or 2016.

I think there's a problem with the first panel. "Descolado" means "cool" in the "sophisticated, exciting, excellent" sense.

the context of scene and the other words in the panel puts "cool" as in "calm, collected, quiet", no?

Maybe you can try and contact a Brazilian editor and/or nespaper. Strips here are greatly accepted and we have a long history on publishing American authors. Your work is of extraordinary quality, you will undoubtedly find someone to publish your work here. If you need some help on it, contact me: leopoldoaranha@yahoo.com.br
